The usage agreement can be found on this page. It takes effect when your Face2Match account has been made.
- To become a member of Face2Match, you must be at least fourteen years old. If a user is a minor, you may only create and use a profile if you have the permission from a parent or legal representative.
- As a user or member of Face2Match, you agree that your registration data will be retained and processed by the owners of this website, Conba NV.
- The user always has the right to access to his/her own personal registration information. You can call it up, change it or delete it as provided by the Act of 8 December 1992.
- It is necessary for people to realise that the profile pages are by their nature public pages, as are the reactions, comments and other public communications means.
- When uploading a photo, it is important to be aware that it must be a clear photo of good quality. If that is not the case, the biometric data cannot be read. The photo will therefore not automatically be included in the photo album.
- The registration data are used by Face2Match for purposes related to providing the service. The registration data can also be used for personalisation of publicity on the site.
- Targetted commercial actions can only be sent by e-mail if permission has been given.
- Face2Match can use advanced ad-management software to send targetted advertisements, tailored site content and sponsoring. The software uses cookies in order to send advertisments to individual browsers on the basis of anonymous user profiles. The anonymous user profiles do not contain any personal information (such as, e.g. name, address, e-mail address).
- Face2Match, or its representatives, may not provide the personal data that are not intended for publication, including data related to the use of the service, to third parties; except where explicit permission has been given, in order to comply with the legislation in force or to protect the rights of Face2Match, its owner or one or more users or members.
Code of Conduct
The following acts are prohibited and punishable by law:
- Racism, xenophobia, negationism and discrimination (on penality of detention for periods ranging from eight days to one year). It is, for example, forbidden to make racist statements, propagate anti-gay messages or to publish insults against foreigners on Face2Match.
- Public violations of morals, publishing pornographic images, pedophilia and publicly offering prostitution or escort services and implicitly or explicitly inviting others to participate in acts of a sexual nature. It is therefore forbidden to upload pornographic photographics or to place excessively erotic texts. Inviting others to participate in sexual activity is not permitted (either publicly or via private messages).
- Slander, degradation, stalking, insults, misuse of name or image, misuse of trust, etc., are prohibited by law and are punishable as crimes of complaint. Insults, gross insults, abuse of another person's name or photo, slanderous and degrading practices are therefore also forbidden on Face2Match.
It is strictly forbidden to place messages anywhere on the site with content that is harmful, threatening, misleading, libelous, hateful, aggressive, racist, vulgar, denigrating, improper, insulting, violent, obscene or pornographic.
Infringements of intellectual property
It is furthermore forbidden to disrupt public order on the website. That includes spamming, vote sollicitation, sending unrequested advertisements or chain letters, via private or public messages, repeatedly illegally reloading pages, flooding, or placing excessively long texts, etc., can lead to prosecution. Inappropriate or harmful conduct towards other users cannot be tolerated. Hacking or attempts at hacking of Face2Match, or of the website of a Face2Match user is absolutely prohibited and extremely criminal. In such an event, Face2Match has the right to notify the police, without exception, including in the case of minors, and immediately. Violators risk a prison sentence of three months to two years and/or a fine up to 25,000 Euros. Except for violations such as libel and degradation, which are complaint offences and can only be prosecuted after a victim has filed a complaint, Face2Match can take the initiative itself to put an end to the prohibited practices. Face2Match is required by law to report violations to the legal authorities when it becomes aware of them.

Disclaimer
- Face2Match reserves the right to refuse a request or submission. A report on the website is not a compulsory right. Face2Match can also remove data without informing the person who submitted them of the fact.
- If someone is shown on a photo and wishes to have it removed, Face2Match will do that via the 'Inappropriate' button, which can be found under the photo, with a clear reason stating why the person wants it removed. The fact that portrait law applies to public places: people are assumed to consent that images or photographs (and even video images) can be taken.
- The data on this website are for the most part placed there by members. Face2Match insists on checking information as much as possible in advance, but cannot guarantee the correctness of all the data. Abuse or incorrect data can be reported via the 'Report Abuse' template.
- Although Face2Match does its best to remove racist, hurtful and illegal messages and data from this website, the webmaster can never be held responsible for the data that are placed on this website.
